Faith & Worship

Faith & Worship is a course of study which integrates Biblical and theological thought.  While fostering an appreciation of Christian worship, Faith & Worship promotes the development of practical skills in leading worship.

This is the recognised training course for Methodist Local Preachers which, in Edgehill, is offered as a two-year course, meeting one evening per week.
There are 10 sessions each semester.

Sections A & B will be covered in 2010/11, including such topics as:
The Teaching of Christ
Exploring the Bible
Picturing God
Origins of Christian Worship
Praising God

Students are required to have Faith & Worship course materials (prices detailed on booking form).  For those accepted to train as Local Preachers, the cost of course fees and course materials should be  borne by the Circuit.

While this is the required course for local preachers, it is not necessary to be considering a role as a local preacher to enrol.
