Under the direction of the Training and Development Officer, the Adult Christian Education office of Edgehill provides part-time courses within the College and delivers Connnexional Training as requested by individual churches or circuits. Such training has included seminars and workshops on prayer ministry and pastoral visiting.
A significant part of our work is the provision of training and support for all involved in any aspect of Lay Ministry within the Methodist Church in Ireland. Seminars, workshops and retreats all form part of our provision for Lay Workers within the Methodist Church in Ireland.
Our vision is to see the people of God growing in knowledge, developing in faith and equipped to serve. We are encouraged that our courses and classes have always attracted students from a variety of Christian denominations and walks of life.
