Introduction to Hospital Visitation

* Are you a lay person who might be interested in hospital visitation, either

within your local church context or within a chaplaincy context?

* Are you a lay person who visits hospitals as part of your church

responsibilities?

* Do you sometimes feel unsure what to do, what to say or how to react to

the different pastoral situations you meet or could meet in hospital?

* Would you be interested in receiving some training for hospital visitors?

Venue: Edgehill College, 9 Lennoxvale, Belfast, BT9 5BY

Dates: Thursdays 23September – 2^nd December 2010, 7.30–9.30pm

Course Fee: £60

It would be appropriate to discuss your participation in the course with your minister/priest. While this course may equip participants to serve as hospital visitors it does not qualify or authorise anyone to do so.
