Edgehill College has a Christian Bookshop, called No9 Resource Centre. Its purpose is to supply and encourage the use of Christian materials throughout the Methodist Church in Ireland and is managed by Mr. Sam Campbell.

Opening hours:

We're open Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm (to 6pm on Tuesdays during term). If you're planning on holding an event in the College you can arrange to have the shop open for an evening or at the weekend. We can also provide bookstall facilities for your event or church outside of Edgehill - chat to Sam!

Our History

The Methodist Bookroom was in Aldersgate House until 2000, when it was downsized to the Methodist Resource Centre - offering only Methodist publications. The redevelopment of both Aldersgate House and Edgehill College brought a new opportunity for the Methodist Church to have a bookshop once more, combined with an emphasis on providing resources that equip and encourage Christians in their worship and witness.

Thus, No9 was born in November 2002. We have an online catalogue, which includes a secure online ordering facility for some of our more popular items - Click to enter the shop. If you were to visit us in Edgehill you'd find a wider range as well as our current special offers - and you'd get to meet the people that make No9 tick! Sam Campbell manages the shop and is ably assisted by Kay Irvine (ACE Assistant) and our wonderful volunteers. If you would like to spend a couple of hours helping either in the shop or at bookstalls around the country, please let Sam know!

November 2006 brought the next big development in No9's life - the launch of the CrownBooks.co.uk/no9belfast website, offering most of our huge catalogue, delivered direct to your home.
